Hiking With Your Dog in the Raleigh/Durham Area

• Want to take your four legged friend out for a nice hike? You have quite a few options convenient to the Triangle including Umstead and Eno state parks and Duke Gardens. All the details including maps and images are on the Hiking page.

Area Dog Parks

• If you live in an apartment or if you don't have a fenced in backyard you may want to look into visiting one of the local dog parks on a regular basis. The dog parks are a great option for letting your dog combine play and exercise. It is also a good place for dogs to learn social skills needed to get along with other dogs and people. Training

• Sometimes we all need help with dog training and behavior. The Triangle area has some excellent trainers, some that will come to your house and others that provide group classes. Look for a growing list of trainers on the Training page.
