Hiking With Your Dog in the Raleigh/Durham Area
- Want to take your four legged friend out for a nice hike? You have quite a few options convenient to the Triangle including Umstead and Eno state parks and Duke Gardens. All the details including maps and images are on the Hiking page.
Area Dog Parks
- If you live in an apartment or if you don't have a fenced in backyard you may want to look into visiting one of the local dog parks on a regular basis. The dog parks are a great option for letting your dog combine play and exercise. It is also a good place for dogs to learn social skills needed to get along with other dogs and people. Training
- Sometimes we all need help with dog training and behavior. The Triangle area has some excellent trainers, some that will come to your house and others that provide group classes. Look for a growing list of trainers on the Training page.

- An active dog is a healthy dog! If your dog is a runner, jumper, herder, carter, ball catcher or all around fun-loving pooch, take a look at the Sports and Activities page.

- Keep your dog healthy with regular examinations, shots and visits to the vet. The Health page lists area veterinarians as well as alternative health options for your dog.

- When you have to leave town, you want to know that a responsible person is caring for your pets. You may also want your dog to benefit from the exercise and fun of dog day care.
